Dark: Who Is Hannah Pregnant With in Season 3?

The third season of Netflix’s Dark has finally hit the streaming service (on the day of the fiction apocalypse!!!), and the reader, things in winden are more confusing than ever. One of the more mind-boggling concepts of the third season? Hannah Kahnwald, Jonas’s mother, becomes pregnant, not once, but twice . . . in two different realities.

In addition to the three decades involved in the show endless time loop, at the end of season two, we were introduced to an alternate Martha Nielsen, who explains that she comes from another reality. If this first world, Adam’s world — Adam being the Sic Mundus “traveler” that Jonas eventually, it becomes an alternative to Marta, the reality is Eva’s world. Eva — the woman, Martha eventually becomes — is the puppeteer of this world, which is also affected by the recurrence of the time loops of most of our characters. And in both worlds, Hannah is waiting for, although in completely different circumstances.

Read on to find out how Hannah pregnancies play in both realities (but be careful, there main spoilers below!).

Who Is Hannah Pregnant in 1954?

In season two, we left Hannah in 1954, where he decided that he would follow all after getting some pretty strong, the revenge of Ulrich Nielsen, who had been locked up in jail for months thanks to a young Egon Tiedemann. It turns out that Ana ends up sticking around with Egon, with whom he began a romance with under the name of Catherine. Hannah becomes pregnant, and once the panic Egon suggests that they “take care of him”, because he is still married to Doris, Hannah leaves. She almost has an abortion but decides against it after a meeting of young Helene Albers and introducing herself as Katharina (that we know Helene, that you then pass in the name of his daughter).

We don’t see Ana again until much later in the season, when using the time machine, she still has in her possession to visit the Sic Mundus of the headquarters (the Tannhaus property) in 1911 with a 5 or 6 year old daughter. She meets with Bartosz Tiedemann in front of the property, where he, Franziska Doppler, Magnus Nielsen, and Jonas — who has become a young Adam by this point they have been since 1888, where they traveled at the time of the revelation, in the year 2020. It is here that Bartosz recognizes Anne daughter of Siljaalthough he knew her as a young adult of 21 years before. (Reminder: in the first place, getting to know young adults Silja in the final moment of the first season in the year 2052, when she welcomes 2019 Jonas for the future and immediately knocks him out.)

It is not clear where — or when — Ana gives birth to Silja, but the details aside, by this point in the season, we know Silja actually has a much more important role in the loops of time beyond being a half-sister to Jonas, and the lovechild of Hannah and Egon.

Who Is Hannah Pregnant in the year 2020?

In Eva’s world, Mikkel Nilsen never going to miss, so Michael Kahnwald does not exist, so neither can Jonas. Although Ulrich and Katharina are still married and are going to have their three children on the Eve of the world as in Adam’s world, this alternate version of the couple finally separates, and Ulrich is going to marry Ana (although Ulrich is still a cheater, this time with Charlotte Doppler). In 2020, the couple is living at Ulrich’s home and expecting a baby together soon.

While in the book of revelation occurs on the 27th of June of 2020, in Adam’s world, Eva’s world do not see their demise until November 2020. As the parallel in revelation is to go down at the end of episode six, we see Anne sitting in her and Ulrich’s dining room table with a pistol in his hand. During the mounting of preapocalyptic events fit in its place, we see Ana suddenly standing, her dress covered in blood from the hips down. It is not clear what is happening and if this occurs naturally or as a result of the revelation of events, but either way, Hannah’s final view before the world is destroyed, it is old Egon, who was sent to this period of time for Eva to “create your past and preserving your family tree.” He enters the dining room as Hannah is the celebration of your pregnancy in the stomach is not lost in the apocalypse, but we don’t see them again.

Though it seems as if it should be impossible that Hannah conceived Silja in Eva’s world, because the father of your child is Ulrich, not Egon, Silja still has to exist in order to give birth to Agnes, who gives birth to Tronte, which has Ulrich, and so on. The particular dynamics of this loop seemingly without answer, as many of Dark‘s finer details.
