Daniel Radcliffe Begins to Harry Potter in the Home Video Readings

The Magical World has always served as a comfortable place for fans to come back every time the impulse strikes them, and now, the first book is to get the star treatment. Well, star treatment that is not a critically acclaimed movie! As part of the Harry Potter in the House of the initiative — developed in response to the COVID-19 of the pandemic by the Magic of the Digital World and J. K. Rowling’s agency, the Blair Partnership — star of Harry Potter franchise and beyond have lent their voices to narrate Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s/philosopher’s Stone. And who better to start that the Boy Who Lived himself, Daniel Radcliffe?

As of May 5, with Radcliffe’s reading of chapter one, “The Boy Who Lived,” recordings of The Sorcerer’s/philosopher’s Stone will premiere the week in harrypotterathome.com, Spotifyand Spotify Children. According to a press release, celebrities such as Eddie Redmayne, Noma Dumezweni, David Beckham, Stephen Fry, Dakota Fanning, and Claudia Kim is going to read all the 17 chapters of the book, “with its themes of family, friendship, courage, and overcoming adversity with the goal of surprise and delight to fans around the world.” The Magical world of the Twitter page revealed a trailer that hinted at some of the cameo appearances which we’re hoping means a trio of meeting is in the future!

The series is the most recent initiative of Harry Potter in the Home, which provides teachers with an open license to publish the recordings of themselves, the reading of Harry Potter stories in the platforms educational and a centre of information and activities in harrypotterathome.com. Fans can access the first video of the reading by Radcliffe, streaming now in the Magical World and a audio-only version on Spotify.
