In our Q&A series Last Call, we get down to the bottom of each one last thing with some of our favourite celebrities — since the last thing that sent a message to the last thing to do before bedtime. This week, the actress Dakota Fanning takes our call.

Dakota Fanning has not only starred some of our all-time favorite movies over the years, from Uptown Girls to Once upon a Time in Hollywood — but she is also an advocate for children, most recently, the partnership with Panda Cares to support marginalized young people in health and education. POPSUGAR: What is the last thing you did for the well-being and self-care?
Can I take a bath every night without fail. I hope throughout the day.

PS: What is the last thing you watched on Netflix?
Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. I’m a big Jerry Seinfeld fan!

PS: What is the last thing that you sent a text message?
Chatting with my best friend about her new baby, who happens to be my goddaughter!

PS: What is the last thing you ordered online?
Some of the new plain white tees. Can never have too many.

PS: What is the last thing you do before you go to bed?
I like to sleep with the TV, not the best habit, according to some, but it seems to me that the noise comforting. I hate to be the last person to fall asleep, so I think that the noise that makes me feel I have company. I choose a good show to watch and settle in.

PS: What is the last photo in your camera roll?
A photo of my above-mentioned daughter, Poppy.

PS: What is the last book you read? I just made a surprise virtual reading of a great book for kids “All Are Welcome” to the children in the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and The Boys and Girls Club of America. The surprise virtual reading was part of the Panda Cares Day where Panda Express is the donation of 88,000 books to children and celebrating the opening of the eighth Panda Care Center of Hope in CMN Hospitals. These centers where the children can heal through specially curated programs, such as art therapy.

PS: what is The last thing you took home from a set?
My character of Sara Howard in both The Alienist and The Alienist: Angel of Darkness carries a signet ring, and I maintain that when we finished filming last October.

PS: What was the last song you sang in the shower?
I am not a singer of a shower, but I am an “in the car”, the singer. I like the explosion of LCD Soundsystem when I’m driving.

PS: What is the last spontaneous thing you have done?
The quarantine has made it difficult to be spontaneous! Still thinking about a road trip of some kind. Stay tuned . . .
