Cardi B Quotes in the ELLE Magazine of September 2020

Cardi B is far from your “regular shmegular” artist. As the cover of ELLE the journal of September 2020 issue, the 27-year-old, the rapper opened up about never refrain from speaking their mind when it comes to politics, their marriage, and even his new music. Yes, we are talking about her latest single, “WAP”, with Megan Ti Stallion and the accompanying music video starring celebrities like Normani, Kylie Jenner, Rosalia, and more. “My music is always going to make a woman feel like a bad b*tch,” he said. “When a woman feels like she is the baddest b*tch in the room, for me, is the empowerment of women.”

She added, “But this album is going to be very different. Of course, going to have my Lemonade moments, my personal relationship moments . . . I don’t want to just put out a single and have people buy it, because I’m a Cardi. I want to put really good music.” And by the response that his latest single that has been won, we have a sense of “WAP” is similar to the type of music that the fans can expect from his forthcoming second studio album.

Aside from the music, the Cardi also spoke candidly about racism and politics, specifically, Breonna Taylor’s death. “That is so crazy to me,” he said. “What they did to her is really f*those above. What is the excuse? Why is the cop not in jail? It was not what he did a crime? It is a crime! And there is no apology. There is No apology. There is No video of the cop out crying, ‘I f*those above. I don’t this. I don’t get that.’ Nothing. No, it is not nothing. I don’t even know how his mother still keeps his head. Incredible.”

“I want a president who understands the pain of the people”.

Since the vi sit down with Senator Bernie Sanders last yearthe rapper has been very open about his opinion of the President of Triumph and what she wants out of a president to the American people. “He’s not doing anything for anyone. He just say things to appease the same people. I want a president who makes me feel secure. I want a president who understands the pain of the people”, he shared. “I want a president that is going to give us answers.”

But as Cardi carefully pointed out, it starts with local elections, and she has come to gather your fans to participate in the voting at all levels. “You can vote for the DAs.
