John Legend took the “stage” for the virtual 2020 BET Awards on Sunday, and his powerful “Never-ending” performance is worthy of a watch with a box of tissues. The legend took a seat behind the piano in an empty, rain-soaked warehouse and a serenade to thousands through the screen with a powerful message of hope and perseverance, all at the same time makes us melt a little inside with his voice, like butter.
