The Political‘s second season is as full of political intrigue, relationship drama, and the moral, or ethical? — the ambiguity in his debut. And just like last season, creator Ryan Murphy said to sneak in some time with Ben Platt to show off those angelic pipes of his, even if no one expects a musical performance mixed with the of your choice, theatre.
Unlike last season, fans will have to wait until the last episode to listen to Platt’s sing, but it is totally worth it. The rest of the season has enough of Payton’s antics as he takes on holder Dede Standish (Judith Light) for a seat in the State Senate of New York with his motley group of conspirators — which once again include Laura Dreyfuss as McAfee, Rahne Jones as Skye Leighton, Theo Germaine as James Sullivan, Julia Schlaepfer as Alice Charles, and Lucy Boynton as Astrid Sloan — to keep you satisfied.
