Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich have reportedly ended their engagement after six months together. “It was a tough decision, but Demi and Max have decided to go their separate ways to focus on their respective careers,” a source told People on Thursday. “They have respect and love for one another and will always cherish the time they spent together.”
Demi and Max first began dating in March, and got engaged four months later when the actor proposed to Demi on the beach. “I knew I loved you the moment I met you,” Demi wrote on Instagram about Max at the time. “I’ve never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all. You never pressure me to be anything other than myself. And you make me want to be the best version of myself.” Demi and Max have yet to publicly confirm the split themselves and they are still following each other on Instagram.
