Streaming LGBTQ+ shows is easier than ever, thanks to the killer selection on Netflix. GLAAD has a mission, and that is to make sure that within the next two years, 20 percent of the regular characters of the series in prime-time TELEVISION are LGBTQ+ in order to achieve a more accurate representation of the world in which we live. According to the organization of the 2019 annual diversity report, we are on the right path, and the study also found that Netflix still the best streaming platform for a diverse representation of characters who openly identify as gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer.
