As fans know, in her memoir, Leah Messer admitted that her third pregnancy ending in abortion was, in fact, a lie because she had actually had an abortion. While she does not regret this decision, she wishes she had been honest about the issue from the beginning with both the public and her ex, Jeremy Calvert!
This is what she revealed in a new interview to Us Weekly, during which she discussed her new overall book entitled “Hope, Grace and Faith.”
Leah opened the whole thing, recalling how she had just “considered” everyone else’s feelings at the time.
However, she wishes she was honest about abortion instead.
When asked what she would change if she could, Leah wanted it: ‘I was more honest about the abortion. I owned it then and was 100 percent honest. I was more thoughtful – even about my journey in general, just putting myself in charge and holding myself high for my journey. ‘
In the memoir, Leah also complained about her decision not to hold the baby, but also revealed that her mother suggested that she secretly take the pills and lie about having an abortion.
She goes on to write about things further and says’ I didn’t feel anything after I left the clinic, but the next day I took the second pill and only a few hours later I started to contract. They told me it would be like a heavy period, but it was more than that. My mom was with me and when the cramps started she called Jeremy. When she told him I had an abortion, the way she played the role of a worried mother was so compelling that I couldn’t tell she was lying. ‘
Leah wrote that she couldn’t help but think that her mother really enjoyed all the drama as long as she was scared, in pain and heartbroken.

The said drama only continued the next day when Teen Mom cameras showed up to document her abortion.
