The hosts of the 2020’s ESPY Awards are using their voices to speak out against racial injustice. Russell Wilson, Sue Bird, and Megan Rapinoe opened the ceremony of the night of the Sunday dress of Black Lives Matter t-shirts, recognizing the Black athletes that have dedicated their careers to the fight for equality, and explaining that the work is far from over. “Our country is a job that is not anywhere close to being complete. We need justice. We need a true leadership. We need a change and we need it now,” said Russell. “It’s not enough to listen to. Help.”

He knew that discomfort was essential to the liberation and the fight against the oppression against Black people is bigger than sports,” aggregate Demand.
