Carter Rubin is certainly the singer to watch on The Voice this season. After moving Kelly Clarkson to tears earlier this season, the 15-year-old made Gwen Stefani break down over his rendition of “Rainbow Connection” by The Muppets during Monday night’s semifinals. The talented musician showed off his incredible vocals as he sang the heartwarming melody. He even put his own spin on the iconic tune with some beautiful high notes at the end. Needless to say, Stefani was in her feelings by the end of the performance. “That was flawless,” she said. “That was God answering my prayers . . . You’re so gifted, you’re so intuitive, your heart is full of music. I’m so honored that you picked me and I’m crying and I’m so happy and I love this frickin’ show.” Aww!
