The Bachelorette-Season 16 Casting

It’s been several months since The Bachelor’s Degree In wrapped and we met our new Bachelorette, but we can officially say that Clare Crawley’s season will begin filming soon with a new cast of guys waiting to win your hand!

Originally meant to begin again in March, the filming of Crawley’s season was stopped out of concern for the health and safety of the cast and crew during the COVID-19 pandemic. Warner Bros Television Group said Entertainment Tonight although there were no confirmed cases in any productions, they follow the guide the Centers For Disease Control, which meant close to filming until it was safe for the cast and crew to re-start. On The 26th Of June The Hollywood Reporter gave the news that the series would begin production “soon” in a private resort in Southern California, where Clara and the contestants would be quarantined together and spend the entire season living on the site.

As expected, this means that some recasting has gone down as some of the previously announced contestants are not able to film in all this time. Crawley originally had 32 men in his list, which has now grown to 42, with 25 new names, and 17 of the original contestant pool. The most significant name of the court from the list is Matt James, who was revealed to be the next Bachelor in the middle of the coronavirus off. To become the franchise’s first Black male lead is not a bad reason for the court of a show!

Crawley new crop of participants includes men of different ages, with a good number of them in their 30s and a couple in their early 40s. Seeing as Clara is 38 years of age, it is nice to see that the production of added more to the men of his age, but there are still enough men in their mid-20s to raise a few eyebrows.
