Artists and activists gathered on the sabbath to the Overall Goal: Unite For Our Future event. The two hours of assembly virtualorganized by the Global Citizen and Dwayne Johnson, discussed with the political, social justice, and health leaders to explore a series of topics about the COVID-19 and its demographic impact in the world and the scientific field. Celebrities who took part in the talks included Billy Porter, Charlize Theron, Naomi Campbell, Olivia Colman, and Salma Hayek. This is the second World Citizen forum of its kind, next the World: Together at Home global remote of concerts that are issued in the month of April.
A true Citizen of the world of fashion, there were a handful of powerful performances. Jennifer Hudson kicked off the event with a superb interpretation of Gladys Knight & the Pips “Where peaceful Waters Flow”, followed by John Legend’s performance of “Greatest Love”. Other standout sets including Chloe x Find the surprising staging of his song “ROYL” and Miley Cyrus the fervid cover of the Beatles “Help!”.
