Introducing Ella Emhoff! When Saturday Night Live announced Maya Rudolph as the host for March 27’s show, we expected a political sketch with an impression of Vice President Kamala Harris. After all, Rudolph has made her impression iconic over the past few months. However, we weren’t expecting the VP’s stepdaughter to make an appearance — well, Chloe Fineman’s portrayal of her, that is.
In a skit centering on Passover, Rudolph’s Kamala is attempting to build bridges with her political opponents, alongside husband Doug Emhoff, played by Martin Short. Although Fineman’s moment as Ella is brief, she steals the show in her prairie-style dress and dramatic catwalk. “Momala serving matzo while I’m serving looks,” she joked.
