We didn’t anticipate anything but greatness from Chloe x Halle’s MTV VMAs preshow performance, and they still exceeded our expectations. On Sunday, the two sisters delivered a gorgeous set ahead of the ceremony, singing the titular “Ungodly Hour” from their latest album.
Of course, they stunned in glamorous looks, rocking head-to-toe chrome as they serenaded us all with their stellar vocals. It was a special occasion for the pair, as they received two award nominations: best R&B song for “Do It,” and best quarantine performance for their staging of the same song during the MTV Prom-Athon in May. The latter definitely shouldn’t come as a surprise since Chloe x Halle have continued to amaze us with their at-home sets over the past few months. Watch their latest live performance above!
