Lizzo wants you to find your voice and use it. In a video posted on his Instagram account on Tuesday, “the Truth Hurts”, the singer shared a song she wrote encouraging his followers to vote in the presidential primary election going on the 2 of June in several states. While she may not be running for president herself, Lizzo has made a point of using his platform as a Grammy-winning singer to speak out against racism, and encourage white people to step and be actively anti-racist.

“Do you know what time it is? It is time to V-O-Te,” Lizzo to sing, letting your followers know that there is more than one way to protest against the injustices in our country, and voting is one of them. Today, voters in the District of Columbia (DC), Indiana, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, and South Dakota submitted their ballots for the primary election, but we have a feeling Lizzo song is going to be even more applicable in the country approaches the general election in November. Take a listen to the full song here and find out what you can do to let your voice be heard this election season.
