Netflix’s teen rom-com The Cabin Of Kisses is getting a sequel, but when is not true? May 21, Joey King revealed in a video on the YouTube live stream that A Kiss In The Booth 2 officially drop on July 24. The film will follow Elle (King) and Noah (Jacob Elordi), as they handle a long-distance relationship as she starts her last year of high school and is heading to Harvard university. However, things get a little complicated when Noah grows about a seemingly perfect college girl named Chloe (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), and Elle must decide how much she trusts Noah.
We already know that principal photography of the sequel wrapped all the way back in August of 2019. The king actually posted a summary photo of the day to Twitter in August, subtitled, “A bunch of clothes, 5 deflated birthday balloons, a tattoo, a wig, and my last day as Elle Evans in South Africa. Thanks for the memories.”
The sequel will bring back the original cast, including the King, Elordi (now pulling double duty with his role in the HBO series The euphoria), and Joel Courtney as the trio of adolescents in the center of the first film’s unconventional triangle. Elordi surprised some fans when he spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about their experiences with their two very different teen roles, revealing that he doesn’t have the highest opinion of your Kissing Booth character.
“They are two completely different experiences[do[making[hacer[makingThe Cabin Of Kisses and The euphoria]. The Cabin Of Kisses it was the first film that I’ve made — it was kind of my ticket to the cinema of Hollywood, that’s why I’m very grateful for that. It is almost like to correct my mistakes a little too much, because the character in The Cabin Of Kisses it is horrible and never explained. It is a kind of idol and become a hero, so I guess that this show is showing why,” she said
Netflix also announced in May of 2019 that two new faces joins the cast. Richardson-Sellers, best known for her role(s) DC Legends of Tomorrowyou’re going to be playing the new character of name Chloe, while Taylor Zakhar Perez will play Frame. The Instagram announcement also teased that they “are the love interests, but it is not . . . not the one for the other . . .” It seems that there will be a lot more romantic twists and turns when A Kiss In The Booth 2 it premieres on Netflix at the end of this summer!
