Imagine: It’s a bright, sunny afternoon in 2010 and is listening to “Airplanes” by B. o.B on their iPod Nano on their way home from school. You’re counting down the hours until the next episode Pretty Little Liarsand you are wondering who could be “A.” Prince William and Kate Middleton have just pledged, and you get butterflies every time you see a picture of them looking lovingly at each other. Hey, true love is a beautiful thing. When you get home, you log on to Facebook and maybe give it to your crush (or, let’s face it, your BFF) a “Poke.” After doing homework, playing a game of Angry Birds, and things. are. good.
Now, flash forward 10 years. It is the year 2020 and all I want to do is go back to 2010, and listen, we hear you. So in honor of what that life was like a decade ago, here’s a list that will take seriously the nostalgia of the simpler times.
