Big Time Rush virtually gathered to surprise fans with an acoustic performance of 2010 their hit “around the World”, a decade later. The former band mates and Nickelodeon companions — Carlos PenaVega, James Maslow, Kendall Schmidt and Logan Henderson — shared a video on June 16, the meeting, along with an inspiring message.
“These difficult times all over the world have made us want to connect with all of you, therefore,” PenaVega wrote on his YouTube page. “They have also made us want to be connected with each other. We were inspired to record and sing together again seeing how many smiles of our control in the video created of weeks ago.”
“We’ve spent some time and, recently, the recording of one of our favorite songs (safely apart) and I wanted to share with all of you as our way of saying thank you,” he continued. “We are sending love to all of you for all of the WORLD. Please, take care of themselves, take care of each other, [please] take care of all their neighbors. We will be thinking of you.”
The Big Time Rush band mates spent four years of his career together and released three studio albums, before they pursued solo projects in the year 2014. Despite the iconic boy band is now separated by distance, they are clearly still united in their love for the music.
