As if Millie Bobby Brown was no longer an impressive 16 years, the actress is also a producer as well. The Strange Things the actress is set to star and produce a new Netflix movie, The Girls that I have Beenas first reported by Deadline. Netflix has confirmed the news of the film, which is an adaptation of the upcoming young adult novel of the same name by Tess Sharpe.
While we have yet to hear many details about its launch, we know The Girls that I have Been it is a suspense-filled thriller centered around a con artist, played by Brown, “the use of[s] your powers of persuasion & impersonation to free himself, his girlfriend & ex-boyfriend of a bank hostage situation,” according to a tweet from @NetflixFilm. Jason Bateman is also producing the film along with Brown. The book is not ready to launch until January 2021, so we’ll probably have to sit tight for additional information.
