Meghan Markle, Michelle Obama Team Up For Girl Up To 2020

Girl up, a campaign of the United Nations Foundation, is hosting its 2020 virtual leadership summit on Monday, July 13 until Wednesday, July 15. The three-day event will feature global leaders, change agents, and allies who are committed to engaging teens in conversations about gender equality. Special guests and speakers include Meghan Markle, Michelle Obama, Nadia Murad, and Chloe Halle x — and it’s completely free to attend.

The focus of this year Girl Up leadership summit is “We need To Talk”, and aims to connect the global movement for gender equality. The three-day agenda and training of the speakers is impressive. In addition, Michelle Obama, Megan, the Duchess of Sussex, 2018 Nobel Peace prize Nadia Murad, and the musicians Chloe x Halle, attendees will receive a front row seat to listen to the inspiring thoughts of the head of UN Women, Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, Facebook coo and founder of Leaninin.org Sheryl Sandberg, The American historian Nina Ansary, Zimbabwe-American educator Tererai Trent — and some of our favorite celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Jonas, Storm Reid, and Jameela Jamil.
