Alicia Keys Dating in InStyle Magazine July of 2020

Alicia Keys appears on the cover of InStyle‘s July issue, and share some words of hope in the magazine. In his interview with the publication, which took place at the beginning of May, the singer reflects on all of his music to the life of the family, but one of his most powerful quotes is when he talked about the murder of 25-year Ahmaud Arbery.

“The most important thing we can do now is take a second to see and appreciate each other just as we are.”

“You know, we do a really good job of judging each other, and assuming that when people we don’t even know them,” she said. “For me, the most important thing we can do now is take a second to see and appreciate each other just as we are.” He added that if we want to see a change in the world, you must first start with us. “I truly believe that we are it — we are what we are hoping for, what we are looking for. The way we raise our children, the way that we have to be the one with the other, the way in which we face the world — that is how things will start to change.”

Alicia shared similar sentiments when she addressed the students in the Estimate of the Class of 2020 special. “It is okay not to be okay now,” she said. “I know that many of you are not thinking about their time in school. You are thinking about what is happening now in the present. You are thinking of marching and protesting and make sure that their voices are heard in a time that we cannot be silent. The world feels broken right now, are now divided in many ways, but, you know, you are taking your anguish and their indignation, and that is putting into action. You’re proving that your generation is the one that is going to heal.”
